Michael's journey into journalism and magazines began in 1984 when the British Archaeological Trust appointed him editor of the archaeological newspaper Rescue News. Tasked with upgrading and enhancing its image, he quickly developed a passion for editing. This led to his appointment as editor of the newsstand magazine Yesterday's World in 1990.
After a break to focus on his career as a music promoter, artist manager, and record producer, Michael returned to commercial magazines in 2002. He launched Movin' Music, a publication dedicated to jazz, followed by Musik-Kafé, Belgium's first dedicated music magazine.
